Climbing covers all of the criteria set out in educational and governmental aims.
Physical education (PE) is part of every child’s entitlement to a good education. It is unique in that it is taught through physical activity in weekly practical lessons both indoors and outdoors, in a wide range of physical, creative and aesthetic settings. It provides pupils with the generic skills, knowledge and understanding they need to become physically literate, and at the same time gives most of them their first regular experiences of sport. Physical education enthuses and inspires pupils to participate fully and develop a life-long love of physical activity, sport and exercise.
Schools have a vital role to play in ensuring that all pupils remain at the heart of a successful sporting legacy left behind by the Olympic Games. Pupils must be encouraged to remain actively engaged in PE and school sport.
With the Olympic legacy in mind it is noteworthy that Climbing will, for the first time, be an Olympic Sport in the 2020 Olympics. It is the only natural human activity not to have been included up to this point in time.
Every day somewhere in your school there is a great story that should be heard beyond the school gates.
Climbing and Traversing Walls demonstrate a strong commitment to pupils Physical and Mental wellbeing as well as being attractive pieces of play equipment.
Equipment like the Traversing Climbing Walls we have installed in many schools have helped to raise school profiles, attracting new students and more teachers to work in these schools. How do we know this? Because we have been told by schools who have received our products.
